ABOUT ME

I’m currently 18, Working with my hands is my passion, but making knives is my main interest, I live in a small town out in the country, and I know the importance of a high-quality knife

HOW IT STARTED

I began making knives when I was 15. I had just snapped my only machete in half after ruthlessly beating it into a stump. And I figured I could make a knife out of the broken tip, so, I took my brother’s Dremel, and my father’s rasp, and made a knife-shaped object. After the blade was complete, I furnished a 2x4 handle and after a little wood stain, the knife was complete.

After that, I was hooked.

Two years later, I’m still making knives, every piece I make is better than the last, and I’m constantly improving my process. I’ve come a long way since my first knife, and still have a long way to go. I’m excited to see what the future will bring, I plan to take some classes very soon, and In a couple years, test for Journeyman Smith in the American Bladesmith Society I have some big things planned, join me on my journey though knifemaking!
